Work on the Larocque Bridge over two weekends

Complete closure of the Larocque Bridge will be in effect from the 2nd to the 4th of January and again from the 8th to the 11th of January for essential maintenance work.

Over these two week-ends, scaffolding will be erected over the vehicle lanes on the south tower of the lift section. These structures will be used for cleaning and painting the bridge, work which is carried out during the winter.

A further complete closure is expected for one weekend in March to dismantle the scaffolding; dates to be confirmed.

To minimize the impact on traffic, the expected detour route will be via the Saint-Louis Bridge.

Schedule of bridge closures

January 2nd to 4th, the bridge will be completely closed to road traffic from 7 a.m. Saturday morning, January 2 until 5 a.m. Monday morning, January 4.

January 8th to 11th, the bridge will be completely closed to road traffic from 10 p.m. Friday evening, January 8 until 5 a.m. Monday morning, January 11.
