Know a senior who could use a little help with texting or Facebook? In their continued effort to break the isolation of elderly in the Upper Saint Lawrence, En Bonne Compagnie will be offering a series of workshops this February to familiarize seniors with new technology.

These workshops will be held at the Little Green Library in Huntingdon and at the One-corner Community Center at Saint-Chrysostome.

The purpose of this upcoming initiative is to facilitate communication between seniors and their families, and increase this population’s ability to access information. The workshops will cover a range of topics such as: using Facebook to stay in touch with friends and family; getting comfortable with tablets and smartphones; tutorials on computer applications like email and spell check; and tools for navigating the internet proficiently.

These workshops will be given by Mobile Multi-Services and will take place in Huntingdon and St-Chrysostome this February, 2017 For more information contact: 450.826.4425 www.enbonnecompagnie.org or projetenbonnecompagnie@gmail.com

Please note: workshops will be given in French.
