This July, the third annual Summer Arts Camp will take place at Huntingdon’s Grove Hall. Two camp sessions, each with a slightly different artistic focus, will run from July 4 -15 and July 18 - 29.

The popular day camp is currently open to those aged six through 15. “We have a lot of repeat campers,” says Grove Hall Director Tina Bye. “We keep having to raise the maximum age for those who want to return!”

Former CVR drama teacher, Tina Bye runs Summer Arts Camp along with the help of young people in the arts, and guest artists from the area. The first camp session will be oriented around stage performance in music, dance, theatre and design. The second session is geared toward self-exploration, wherein each camper chooses a theme that they would like to discover. A few themes from recent years have included the 1950’s, knights and castles, and time travel. Campers are welcome to attend one or both sessions. The end of each camp will culminate in a “Ta Da” performance for family and friends to enjoy.

Camp runs from 9:30am to 3:30pm weekdays. For all other registration information visit www.grovehall.ca or call 450-374-1672.
