The Rural Arts Project is thrilled to welcome Valleyfield native, Sylvain Leduc performing Elvis Presley to the Grove Hall stage, in Huntingdon on Saturday, April 2, 2016.

Fans will remember Sylvain Leduc from his last Huntingdon appearance in October, however he will be bringing a different show and different music. What won’t have changed is his charisma on stage and charming the ladies. Rumour has it, he even has a few special gifts for some of his younger fans.

“Sylvain is the closest thing to the King that I have ever seen or heard in my lifetime .... No one comes near in terms of looks, voice and speech!” – Don Beyor, Promoter

Leduc is set to ascend the Elvis Presley Tribute Artist contest circuit. In his single year of competing, he has won all the competitions he has entered. He won first place in Lake George, NY last summer at the Ultimate Elvis Festival for the “Best 70s Elvis”, and again at the 5e convention d'Elvis Presley in Quebec City last November, and is poised to win more this year.

“I never really wanted to compete, because I believe we [Elvis Tribute Artists- know as ETAs in ‘the biz’] are all equal because we share the same passion”, says Leduc. “But after meeting and sharing with the other Elvis’ and the fans, I really enjoyed the contest festival atmosphere.”

On stage with Leduc, in classic Elvis style, is his wingman Don Beyor, providing Elvis with sips of water, and gifts for the ladies in the audience who catch Elvis’ eye. A lifelong Elvis aficionado, Beyor says “Sylvain is the closest thing to the King that I have ever seen or heard in my lifetime ... I have seen many performers: Vegas, Atlantic City, Myrtle Beach, Montreal at various venues. No one comes near in terms of looks, voice and speech!”

Don was so impressed that he has dedicated his post-marketing career retirement to supporting Sylvain Leduc in his ascent to become the number one Elvis Tribute Artist in Canada.

The tickets for the April 2nd show are Grove Hall, which are $20, are available on-line at www.grovehall.ca or by calling Don at 450 264-8128.
