De Martin confident about the Conservative’s maritime projects

In a press release launched on September 8, Conservative party candidate, Albert De Martin, estimates that the “Quebec Maritime Prosperity” initiative announced recently to help create jobs and support Québec’s Stratégie maritime, will benefit the Salaberry-Suroît region.
Albert De Martin is not surprised by this support for the Provincial government’s maritime strategy, “The Harper government has a solid record of support for maritime infrastructure in Quebec”, he says, citing the expansion projects that were announced recently for the Ports of Montreal, Quebec and Trois-Rivières totaling more than $120 M as part of Infrastructure Canada’s New Building Canada Plan.
Albert De Martin believes that this synergy can only mean good news for the future of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges logistic hub and that the next Conservative government will feel involved in this project: “A significant number of jobs are related to this and local and provincial authorities have indicated their commitment”, he added.
According to De Martin, this announcement, along with the Conservative’s desire to reduce the administrative burden for small businesses by 20%, further shows that the conservative program deserves consideration from Salaberry-Suroît voters.
